Keeping in touch
In the UK, in 2008, no one is very far away. With mobile phones and internet access everywhere, keeping is touch is no longer something we even think about. However, whilst our phones will work in most of the countries around the world, the thought of the call charges, and the line rental for 33 months, means we won't be using them.
In fact we plan to leave the phones at home and to get PAYG sim cards from the countries we visit or use (queue dramatic theme music) a payphone (GASP!). We have a secret weapon though, our trusty laptop and Skype. Using that and this site we should be able to keep in contact with everyone.
